Please note that this page is no longer being updated as I have left academia.
Until recently I was employed as Director of Genome Informatics within Ken Smith’s group. I completed my PhD at the University of Cambridge entitled “Integrative statistical methods for the genomic analysis of immune-mediated disease” under the supervision of Chris Wallace. Before that I was Head of Genome Informatics at the DIL, and was lucky to manage a team of three bioinformaticians, who were responsible for ImmunoBase and T1DBase, two widely used and cited human autoimmune genetic databases. I currently maintain CHiCP, a tool to visualise GWAS summary statistics in the context of tissue-specific chromatin looping events.
